Coconut fibers are part of the protector in the form of coconut cover or coarse fibers. The thickness of each coconut fiber varies depending on the type of coconut. Generally, coconut fibers used for handicrafts are taken from old coconuts. Older coconuts have thicker and stronger fibers.

Coir yarn is commonly known as coir yarn. That is, a rope made of coconut fiber rings is tightly tied to form a tight rope. Recycling coir waste for use in ropes through various processes in an effort to increase the economic value of processed coir products.
Coir or coir is made from coir fibers which are processed into a special fiber called coir by a machine that cracks coir. The fibers are processed by hand spinning or using a fiber spinning machine.

Making a coconut rope craft is an example of craftsmanship. By making this craft, you can develop your creative skills and save your money for something else you want.
Materials
- Old tires (check the junkyard or local car dealer if you don’t have them!)
- Coconut rope (about 150′ 3/8″ thick rope or 100′ 1″ thick rope)
- 50′ 3/8″ nylon tape
- Hot glue gun and glue
- scissors
- Sealant and brushes (optional)
The Steps
Wrap the nylon strips around the edge so that the crossed strips cross each other and form a nice, firm covering over the exposed part of the edge. Tie a piece of string to hold it in place.
Starting at one side edge of the ribbon, wrap a strip of coir rope around the ribbon while hot-gluing the nylon tape. Continue wrapping until all sides of the tape are covered.
Continue wrapping until you reach the top of the strip, forming a concentric circle at the bottom of the nylon strip. You have to tie the coconut rope yourself, as well as the nylon rope, as you go. When you are halfway to the edge, cut off the excess belt and glue the ends in place.
If you plan to keep the ottoman outside, you can paint the strips with a light sealant. It is a DIY coconut rope craft using the materials you have around.
